
Scarypants is a lighthearted thriller maze game where the player must collect batteries to bring to a generator hidden in the maze, all while avoiding a pair of scary pants and using their flashlight to see around the level.
I worked on enemy AI, tile mapping, level design, player and enemy interactions, as well as 2D art.
The enemy movement AI was the most difficult aspect of this project. I experimented with multiple solutions, but I ended up using A*.
