Catcaine is a game about escaping a science facility as a cat with the ability to change between a smaller cat and a larger cat. I worked as a producer and tech artist, as well as additional programming and sound design for the game.
As the tech artist, I created 3 unique shaders; one to create a pixelated effect, one for basic cel shading, and one for more advanced cel shading. My main goal when creating the shaders was to create versatile tools for the artists to utilize and experiment with. This was my motivation for creating the advanced cel shader; I wanted to create something the artists could have more control over in order to support their artistic vision.
